Plate & Steel sections used conforms to BS EN S275 & BS EN 43A. Any type or style for any purpose available in either Budget, Standard, Premier or Heavy Duty specification. These are available in various shapes, mainly double and single end tipping skips also flat top skips. Many can be fitted with drop doors complete with secondary locking device for safety. Open Double Tipping Skip
Gileskips Manufacturers offer a complete range of open double tip skips to suit all applications from 2 to 20 cubic yards.
All built to CHEM standard guidelines, dependent on size most of our Skips are available in either Budget, Standard or Premier specifications and can include a drop door if required at minimal extra cost.
Used for general waste for most skip hire & recycling companies i.e. site, home & garden clearance and light to medium weight scrap metal.
Open Single Tipping Skip
These skips can offer increased capacity over double tip due to the bins design shape and higher volume capacity.
Available in Budget, Standard or Premier Specification. All specifications can have a drop door attached if required at extra cost.

Enclosed Walk In Skip
Gileskips manufacture and fabricate an Enclosed Easy Discharge Walk In Skip in 12 & 14 cubic yard capacities. Enclosed Easy Discharge Walk In Skips are used mainly for the transportation of Special or Hazardous Waste such as Asbestos.
Walk In Skips are built using 4mm Plate on Base, 3mm Plate on Sides, Ends, Doors & Roof. Reinforced RSC 76mm x 38mm Sub-Frame & Side Rails with 1 off Tipping Bar under Floor in sub frame. Drop Forged Lifting Lugs, 2 per side. Double Barn Doors with Locking Box on Back Door, Painted in your company colours in RAL or BS paint codes. FELs
We manufacture a full range of FELs (Front End Loading) Chain Lift Skips available from 2 to 10 cubic yard capacities. Can be manufactured to include a variety of apertures.
FELs are the choice solution for easy one man collections.
FEL bins are all manufactured to a standard specification with CHEM standard lifting lugs and tipping bars for use on conventional skip loading vehicles. FELs are mounted on reinforced fork pockets. Both side hinged and top hinged plastic lids are available.
RELs
We manufacture a full range of REL [Rear End Loading] Chain Lift Skips available in sizes ranging from 8 cubic yard to 12 cubic yard capacities. REL metal waste containers can be manufactured to include a variety of openings and apertures.
REL waste containers are used with rear end loading vehicles but also work with chain lift equipment.
This container is available as either an open REL or fully enclosed REL, fitted with either steel lockable lids or as per photo plastic lids. All manufactured with CHEM Standard R.E.L Interface Tube and Bars, stabilizing legs and CHEM standard lifting lugs and tipping bars. A tipping/pivot arrangement is available as fixed or loose pins to suit your requirements. Call for details.
Crane Liftable Skip
Available from 2 to 12 cubic yards. Used for Site Movement with both skip load vehicles and Tower / Portable Crane Units.
Comes complete with individual lifting test and certification per unit. Meeting general on-site health and safety requirements.
General safe working load approx. 6,000 KGs however higher capacities can be manufactured.
Forklift Tipping Skips
Gileskips can provide you with a Forklift Tipping Skip manufactured in a variety of sizes to aid you with the movement and disposal of commercial & domestic material waste from within confined spaces.
Forklift tipping skips are supplied as a manually operated unit as standard with various sizes’ available from 500 Litre up to 1,750 Litre capacity. Forklift Tipping Skips are manufactured in 3mm steel plate, reinforced with angle top and manufactured with either 2 or 4 way base entry with fork tunnels for standard sized forks. FLT’s can also be manufactured with Castors for easy movement. Self-Tipping Skips are fitted with safety catch & safety retaining chain and come painted in your Company Colours in either RAL or BS paint codes.
